Feeling safe is important. At home, at work, and walking around town. There have been days we walked into stores throughout the years and felt uncomfortable because we didn’t fit the white heteronormative image of a "standard" consumer. It didn’t feel right when we were talked down to. We knew that there was a better way and built our insurance agency around inclusivity. We asked questions like:

Additionally, inclusive businesses can also help create a more equitable society, by reducing inequality and enabling those from underprivileged backgrounds to access economic opportunities.

It's sounds lofty coming from AI however, "treating people like people" is something that Suzie Health Solutions has done for nearly a decade. We focused on Health and Medicare Insurance and do our best to lessen the struggle of complex, needed coverages. Not charging any fees and explaining coverages to prospects helped the community at large.

The challenge of being inclusive is that you want to build more to help more people. Shayla was working adjacent to insurance for the last couple of years in Crop Insurance as an account manager while being a dynamic progressive activist.
