Why are new Homes in Wenatchee cheap to insure?

Image
At Wenatchee Insurance , we get this question a lot about new homes and the price of insurance. Central Washington residents love buying new construction homes in Quincy, Leavenworth, Lake Chelan, Entiat, and all around the countryside. There are definitely hot, new built homes in the area.  It's great to move to a brand-new home and not have to worry about anything other than how to set up your internet service and have enough storage space. Typically, there is no painting, no repairs, no cleaning out the back corner of the basement, or other hassles that come with a pre-existing home purchase. One of the other things that people take comfort in when they purchase a new build is that the cost of insurance is incredibly cheap compared to older homes. We are often asked how this is possible. There are a bunch of factors at work. Let's take a closer look! Number one on the list is going to be the fact that the house is shiny with the new house smell. Seems obvious right? Think o

Are you paying too much for home insurance?

Image
At Wenatchee Insurance , we like to know why a possible new client in Chelan/Douglas County is searching for new coverage with us.  Yup, the answers vary, but we do see some trends, and usually that is centered around price.  Who doesn't think about price these days? Buyers have more options than ever and the elusive better deal is sometimes not elusive at all.  Are you paying too much for insurance? People don't want to overpay. Plain and simple. You'll see the majority of advertisements focus on helping customers save money. $300 billion a year spent on advertising proves this to be the case. Companies want to keep saving money front of mind, and when it comes to saving money, they want to stand out ahead of the competition to bring that buyer in-house versus going with someone else.  For the consumer, the big question, am I paying too much? Trusting the companies that advertise to them isn't the best strategy. Never treat good marketing as equaling a good pro

Most ot the snow is melted so a lot of us going to dust off the bike and go for a ride. Do we need insurance ? Not everyone has coverage on their motorcycle year round. If you are a hipster or riding a Harley then you should know motorcycle insurance is different from auto insurance in a few ways: 1.Coverage: Motorcycle insurance typically offers specific coverage for motorcycle-related risks such as custom parts, safety apparel, and roadside assistance. work goes into a ride 2.Cost: Motorcycle insurance is generally less expensive than auto insurance due to the lower risk of damage or injury caused by a motorcycle compared to a car. Why everyone that is renting should have an insurance policy

Image
At Wenatchee Insurance Agency one of the most affordable policies that we do is Renter's Insurance. When you are living at someone else's place, whether it is a paying rent for an apartment or crashing in the basement for an extended period of time then get some renters insurance. We talk about these for years because they are inexpensive and with a good one in place they keep problems from compounding. Renters insurance is a type of insurance that provides financial protection for individuals who rent their living space, such as an apartment or a house. It can help cover the cost of replacing personal belongings that are lost, stolen, or damaged due to covered events, such as fire or theft. It can also provide liability coverage, which can help pay for legal expenses if someone is accidentally injured on the rental property. Additionally, renters insurance can also provide additional living expenses if the rental property is uninhabitable due to a covered event. Overall, re

Why is Inclusive Business important with insurance?

Image
Feeling safe is important. At home, at work, and walking around town. There have been days we walked into stores throughout the years and felt uncomfortable because we didn’t fit the white heteronormative image of a "standard" consumer. It didn’t feel right when we were talked down to. We knew that there was a better way and built our insurance agency around inclusivity. We asked questions like: Human : Why is inclusive business important ? AI : Inclusive business is important because it seeks to create economic opportunities for marginalized groups such as those living in poverty, the disabled, and women. By extending economic opportunities to diverse social and economic structures, inclusive businesses can contribute to economic growth, create jobs, and reduce poverty . Additionally, inclusive businesses can also help create a more equitable society, by reducing inequality and enabling those from underprivileged backgrounds to access economic opportunities. It

This online radio station is launching February 1st. From what we have seen, it is amazing work by Nikki. We met Nikki back from her days with KPQ and doing the morning show. It would be a crime to let leave the area. How a health issue became political.

Let's look at the beginning and problems: If you listen to one of the protest groups then you hear a lot of statements concerning the Constitutionality of Governor's Inslees stay at home orders. When you start look at the history of our country then you see that pandemics are nothing new. While  George Washington  Battled the British, he was also battling smallpox, not only did he use quarantines, he also used mandated vaccines. George  Washington wrote a letter to the President of Congress in 1787 , concerning the necessary central authority to "provide for the Interest and Safety of all"states.  Covid 19 didn't disappear in a miracle nor did it weaken " when we get into April " as Trump was early to downplay the pandemic. There are multiple accounts of the federal government taking needed supplies from states.  1.   2.    3.   4 .  while sending them to foreign countries like  China . A  whistleblower stepped forward with charges of cron
