Purses are expensive   Renters’ insurance typically provides coverage for theft, which means it can help protect your personal belongings if they are stolen from your rented property or temporary situations such as your automobile.. They are surprisingly affordable and as an independent insurance agency, WenatcheeInsurance has several companies to choose from. Here's how renters’ insurance generally covers theft:   Personal Property Coverage: Renters' insurance includes coverage for your personal belongings, such as furniture, electronics, purses, and other possessions. If these items are stolen due to a covered event, like a burglary or theft, your insurance policy can help reimburse you for their value. The coverage typically extends to theft that occurs both inside your rented unit and outside, such as if your belongings are stolen from your car.     Actual Cash Value (ACV) vs. Replacement Cost Value (RCV): When filing a theft claim, the insurance company may either reimb

How does bundling effect the price of my insurance.

Progressive Insurance offered a look last fall at whom they are targeting with their advertising dollars. They called them the “Robinsons”. As an independent insurance agency, we keep an eye out for changes in the marketplace to see how we can improve our products in our community.  The Robinsons are a segment of the marketplace that includes households who own a home and car and place the insurance with the same insurer as a bundle. They represent the ideal customer for the big insurance company. They have the highest retention of 53% and the longest retention with 45% having been with their insurance provider 11 years or more. These are the customers that are highly sought after by big insurance companies and see some (but not all) discounts.  Robinsons are important to big insurance. Specifically, D&O insurance may cover the following: 1.        1.  Legal defense costs : This includes attorney fees, court costs, and other expenses associated with defending against cla

How to get cheap insurance for my teen driver?

Image
Getting cheap insurance for a teenage driver can be tricky, as younger drivers are considered higher risk by insurance companies. Seriously, we have a high school driver in our household and from driver’s education, the new rules through getting the new insurance increase, the experience is while. However, there are a few steps you can take to try and lower your premiums:   Shop around: Different insurance companies offer different rates, so it's important to compare quotes from multiple insurance companies before deciding. We brought our policies in-house and shopped at six different companies at Wenatchee Insurance . Our household’s insurance was with a single company.   We knew we needed more shopping power without going to half a dozen different agencies.  Shop Wenatchee Insurance 's exchange.  Consider adding your teen driver to your existing policy depending on the company. Some companies are set up better for older drivers. Yes, you want all the household’s dri
